Regional Task Force meeting held in Belgrade

The first meeting of the Regional Task Force of the project „Advancing teacher professionalism for inclusive, quality and relevant education” (ATEPIE) took place on January 23rd in Belgrade.

This occasion brought together leaders of the four country teams of the ATEPIE project (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia) and the Croatian representative as the observer, who presented current trends in the National Qualification Frameworks development, with the special emphasis on contexts of specific countries.

Mrs Tinde Kovac Cerovic, State Secretary in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia, has attended the morning session.

Encouraged and inspired by the valuable contributions of professor Graham Donaldson, international expert, and Natasa Pantic, CEP expert for teaching profession, Regional Task Force engaged in the fruitful discussion on the work methodology and working plan.

RTF, consisting of the national teams’ leaders, international expert and CEP project management team, is established with the purpose of enabling regional dialogue in the process of NQF proposals preparation.

The next meeting of the Regional Task Force is scheduled for March 30th 2012. It will take place in Sarajevo.
