This year's Kopaonik Business Forum, in addition to numerous sessions, events, and speeches by various distinguished personalities, was featured by a panel on the topic of education, in which participated Jasminka Cekic Markovic, director of the Centre for Education Policy.
The panel entitled Education 4.0 was moderated by Svetlana Kisić, a member of the presidency of the Serbian Association of Economists, and in addition to the director of the Centre for Education Policy, the participants were Slavica Đukić Dejanović, Minister of Education, Aleksandar Baucal, professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade, and Kosta Jovanović, professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade.
"The most important thing is that schools do not remain closed to the changes that are happening. Information is very easy to find, so students do not need someone to guide them through the process, which is wrong. Now the role of the teacher becomes even more important. The teacher should teach the student to handle all with the information he/she finds," said Jasminka Čekić Marković.
We would like to thank the organizers of the Kopanik Business Forum for the invitation and the opportunity to share our opinion on the future of education!
