Centre for Education Policy marked the month of September, apart from the beginning of the school year, with a new project called "All of US - Intercultural Program for Multiethnic Secondary Schools in Serbia", which is supported by the United States Department of State.
The main goal of this project is to improve the cooperation of students of different nationalities, as well as to improve the competencies of students and school staff in the field of intercultural education.
Our long term work and experience in the education system have shown that the cooperation of students of different nationalities is challenging, especially when there are segregated classes in secondary schools, and that the opportunities for students to cooperate and jointly contribute to school life are limited.
Therefore, the project "All of US" will implemend two training programs - one for students and one for teachers, as well as a series of intercultural workshops, in order to improve the level of cooperation between students of different nationalities. The project will last for a year and a half.
The project is intended for secondary schools from the territories of Niš, Novi Pazar, Novi Sad and Subotica.
During October, Centre for Education Policy will announce an invitation to schools from the mentioned cities to participate in the project.
In addition to the activities that will be implemented in schools, Centre for Education Policy will also be in charge of monitoring and evaluation, that is, the collection and analysis of data that will be used to measure the achievement of project goals.
